In December 2016, to commemorate Trainspotting 2, Danny Boyle’s highly-anticipated sequel, Empire Magazine commissioned Mr Brainwash to create a unique cover featuring the main characters of the movie.
To end a very eventful and successful year, in December 2016, Mr Brainwash was a special guest at the White House and met with the US president at the time, Barack Obama.
Mr Brainwash and longtime friend Rick Ross came together in collaboration once more for the artwork of Ross’ ninth album, Rather You Than Me.

DJ Khaled, also known as the King of Snapchat, visited the studio to help Mr Brainwash launch his Snapchat. The whole process was documented on Khaled’s own account on the social media outlet.
The two are longtime friends, first crossing paths when Mr Brainwash was introduced to the world of Hollywood and oftentimes partying together during Art Basel and other occasions.

Collaboration and Performance with Mercedes-Benz

Mr Brainwash attended the Mercedes-Benz Evolution Tour with Alabama Shakes and Young the Giant in Santa Monica, California. He was invited to do a performance piece at the event on a GLA-Class vehicle.
Mr Brainwash has previously collaborated with Mercedes-Benz before this event: he had painted one of their vehicles before, which toured nationwide with the German automobile company and was also exhibited at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2014.
