Mr Brainwash, also known as Thierry Guetta, is an internationally recognized contemporary artist whose vibrant works celebrate creativity, positivity, and the joy of imagination.
Known for bringing his colorful visual language beyond gallery walls and into public space, Mr Brainwash has created more than 30 major public installations and murals around the world. His work merges the energy of street art with the influence of pop culture, transforming familiar images and iconic symbols into bold, uplifting expressions of creativity.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with renowned musicians, designers, athletes, and global brands including Disney, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Pope Francis, Pelé, Rihanna, Coca-Cola, Stan Lee, Bentley, Rubik’s Cube, Riva, Matchbox, the NBA 2K Foundation, and NASCAR, etc.
He first gained international recognition through the Academy Award nominated documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop, which introduced his artistic vision to a global audience. In December 2022, he opened the Mr Brainwash Art Museum, welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors and celebrating the intersection of art, culture, and community.
